RETURN OF MERCHANDISE

(excluding Rams)

 

  • All pumps carry a 60 day warranty from the invoice date. Pasture Pumps carry a 90 day warranty from the invoice date. All other products carry a 30 day warranty from the invoice date.
  • During the warranty period any defective parts will be replaced or accepted for returns.
  • Rife strongly encourages its customers to ensure the pump they are purchasing fits their application as returns will not be accepted once the pump has been installed and/or used.
  • Defective merchandise can be returned, pre-paid, with prior written or telephone approval from a Rife representative.
  • A restocking charge of 20% will be accessed on all merchandise returned unless specifically authorized by a Rife representative.
  • Rife guarantees all equipment to be of good workmanship, constructed of quality materials, and able to perform the work for which it was designed.
  • Any damage to the product resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, improper installation or alterations or by any use contrary to our instructions will render our warranty void and of no effect.

  • Our Rams have been successfully in operation for many years with no problems in correct applications.
  • Returns on Rams are not accepted once in operations, unless specifically authorized by a Rife representative.
  • Any new pump not working properly should be brought to Rife’s attention within 30 days of installation date so that any defective parts or problems in the installation can be fixed.

 

Please be sure to know the following before buying and installing the ram as well as contacting Rife with any problems:

 

  • Fall
  • Elevation
  • Distance of Ram
  • Distance from Ram
  • Flow
  • Pipe Sizes
  • Any transitions, standpipes, or valves

 

Rife requires all customers with Rams not operating correctly to send a diagram of their application BEFORE any advice is given on fixing a pump application.
